What is the correct age to begin skincare treatments?
The answer is: start today, as the aging had been started a long time ago and even now you are behind it.
What happened till now?
- With age, sunlight and free radical exposure, collagen in the skin loses its elasticity and produces new cells at a much lower rate. While creams and collagen injections temporarily can restore lost collagen, other, more natural techniques may be preferable.
- Collagen is a fiber in the connective tissue throughout your body, most noticeably in the face. As you age, your body naturally stops producing collagen and the existing collagen will begin to break down. This leads to facial sagging and wrinkles and gives the skin a rough appearance.
- The free radicals are neutralized by vitamin E and the free radical chain is also disrupted by the vitamin to prevent and/or minimize damage to structural proteins in the skin such as collagen and elastin, which help main the skin’s elasticity.
